Powernet fabric is a heavy weight mesh fabric used in costumes and skating outfits. It is also used for the back band in brassieres and other garments where you want lots of stretch.

Spandex fabric is a synthetic fabric that is able to expand up to 600% and spring back without losing its integrity. Spandex is used in bathing suits, cycling shorts, surgical compression garments, and brassieres.
