Gold is a glamorous color that has many shades including Vegas gold, old gold, pale gold and golden brown. The traditional gold is more of a metallic color and gives the impression of the element gold.

The use of the word gold was first recorded in the 1400's. It is best described as "A light olive-brown to dark yellow".
